Acknowledging a “design motif” of Alberto Giacometti,” this combines “the aesthetic qualities of Giacometti and Brancusi with the more intense facial features and anatomy found in Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. The three-meter-high bronze depicts Olaf Haraldsson, the 11th century Norwegian hero and saint. (Collection of the artist)
